Work being done to address tricky slope near development in Goderich
Work is underway at the south end of Goderich close to a residential development. A 300-metre stretch along the bluffs is being graded creating a gentler slope down towards Lake Huron. Mayor John Grace says the developer Coast Goderich has acquired permits from Maitland Valley Conservation, Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, and the Department of Fisheries and Oceans. Grace says work on grading the slope should be completed by March 15th and that work on constructing the new homes will resume afterwards.
