Airdrie RCMP arrest man on numerous charges
Article content On Jan. 31 at approximately 12: 30 a.m., an Airdrie RCMP officer was patrolling in Balzac, Alta. when he noticed a man standing by a truck at a gas station. The officer instantly recognized him and knew that he was on numerous conditions, including that he was to remain in his residence for 24 hours a day. The officer pulled up behind the truck and informed the driver that he was under arrest, at which time the man jumped into his vehicle and drove away at a high speed.
