(Nov. 7, 2023: Update 7:23 p.m.)  Special Town Meeting voters on Nantucket Tuesday night rejected a series of short-term rental regulations  that would have prohibited future commercial ownership of STRs, restricted to one the number of STR properties per owner and  limited the number of times in the high season homes could be short-term rented.
