A judge threw out a petition seeking to have a special grand jury investigate Norfolk Commonwealth's Attorney Ramin Fatehi as a public nuisance. The judge criticized the attempt as a publicity stunt and ordered Amina Matheny-Willard, the attorney who filed it, to pay a $500 fine.
Several community groups gathered Monday night to light Codi’s way home. Many of them searched wooded areas and neighborhoods to try and find him over the past year.
Tuesday marks a year since Codi Bigsby, of Hampton, was reported missing. It was Jan. 31, 2022, when Codi's father, Cory Bigsby, reported his disappearance.
