He was born October 6th, 1951 in Lumberton, Mississippi to Major Coleman and Doris Mitchell. He enlisted in the U.S Army in 1972 and proudly served his country for 26 years. Many of those years were spent stationed overseas in Germany where he also met his wife, Theresa, with whom he shared nearly 30 years of his life.
