th Session of the Baltic Assembly and the 13 th Baltic Council took place in Riga (Latvia). The main topics covered during the Session: 1) balance between Eastern and Southern directions in the EU neighbourhood policy; 2) political dialogue at the parliamentary level as an instrument in the EU neighbourhood policy; 3) the Baltic States and Eastern dimension of the European neighbourhood policy.
