The incident occurred at about 9 p.m. at The Comedy Zone in Charlotte, media outlets reported. No one was injured.
Craig Robinson addressed fans, after being evacuated from a comedy club where a man opened fire before his set.
Police said the suspect entered the club shortly after 9pm and began brandishing a gun while demanding that everybody leave the venue.
