The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has disqualified technology provider Smartmatic from participating in all of the poll body’s procurement to “maintain the integrity” of the country’s electoral process.

Comelec has passed a resolution holding the salaries and benefits of officers and employees who have unliquidated cash advances, Chairman George Garcia said.
