Oedipus geht um in Berlins Opern. Drei Tage nach dem Saisonauftakt der Deutschen Oper mit «Greek» von Komponist Mark-Anthony Turnage eröffnete auch die Komische Oper ihre Spielzeit mit dem klassischen Stoff um Vatermord und Mutterehe.
Katharina Thalbach sitzt im orientalisch dekorierten Foyer des Schiller-Theaters, die Beine hat sie hochgelegt auf einen Hocker. Aber das ist nicht symbolisch zu sehen. Die Schauspielerin und Regisseurin hat mit „Mord im Orientexpress“ (wieder ab 7.9.) einen Publikumshit in der Komödie am Kurfürstendamm gelandet. Sie steckt voller Ideen.
