Used to be standard military policy, things like promoting people, making sure that generals get their four stars. that has now been co-opted by the extreme right and the religious right. what do you make of that? i am astonished by it. i have been following the tuberville story. he s like zero and one with rico, i don t know if he knows his audience. before the the commandant walked on water for marines. it s really important to young marines who have their boots on the ground that they have a leader that they know that leaders name and they really follow these orders. so yanking that from the marine corps and 60 other nominations i think he is holding up over something that, body autonomy for women who served in the military is ludicrous. it s kind of disgusting, really. we have really entered, i think, the twilight zone, when a senator can conflate those two things because of his own ....
