Warning from firefighters after 50 flood-related calls
FLASH flooding has prompted firefighters to issue a warning to the public after crews were called to more than 50 flood-related incidents. Heavy rain throughout the day on Wednesday lead to firefighters being called to rescue people from stranded cars across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. Several roads were closed by floods on Wednesday evening, including the A449 at Much Marcle and the A465 at Wormbridge.
