According to police sources, an intense search operation was initiated by security forces based on intelligence

In an anti-Naxal operation in Chhattisgarh's Sukma district, a Naxalite was killed in a gun battle with security forces. The operation was launched based on intelligence about the presence of Naxal leaders, including Sodhi Gajendra, in the forest. The deceased Naxalite's identity is yet to be determined, and the search is ongoing. The operation involved personnel from the District Reserve Guard, Bastar Fighters, and the Central Reserve Police Force.
