those east, west roads are getting blown shut by the wind and the drifts. so just because a plow goes by, in 15 minutes that drift can drift that road shut again. so 9 degrees below zero, but you're standing in line to get into the caucus. that's the air temperature. now, you add in the wind and all of a sudden 9 below turns into 28 below. up here in sheldon, 38 degrees below zero. there are a lot of people here that have live stock. they have animals. they have to take care of those animals. do they have four hours to leave them, go someplace and then hope that they're still alive when they get back? to me that answer is no. we'll have to see how that affects turnout. >> yeah, a lot of dangerous conditions out there. obviously we're hoping everybody stay safe even if they do go out. chad myers, thank you for that. and let's talk about the cold but not just that, the contest that is going to be happening on monday night. we have two campaign veterans here. david urban, a cnn senior

political commentator and was a campaign advise door the trump campaign in 2016. and ashley allison, the former national coalitions director for the biden-harris 2020 campaign and also a senior political commentator. great to have you both here. david, i mean i think this is a real concern that we're seeing here from these republican candidates. and also in donald trump's campaign because they've been trying to get a lot of people to come out who aren't typical caucus goers, who maybe don't turn out every four years, a lot of them in rural areas who may drive further to get to their spots. how much is this a real concern for these campaigns? >> kaitlan, i think it's a big concern, right? there's an old saying how you run a campaign. you run scared or unopposed, right? so everybody's running scared at this point especially in light of this weather situation. jessica alluded to it, you know, most of the people go to camp caucus sites which they walk in and they're kind of in a gym or school, so you're not standing in line like at a polling place

>> donald trump not willing to show up on the debate stage . does he come to communities to answer questions, has he gone to all 99 counties, has he gone the nine counties? >> unconstitutional witchhunt . election interference at the highest level, it is a disgrace. it is interference, political interference and it is something that should not be allowed. >> it should be noted front- runner donald trump making himself scarce on the campaign trail instead making his closer during closing arguments in the courtroom for one of his several trials. whose argument will win out? like bette davis said, fasten your seatbelts. i should have done my hair like that using that reference. let's talk about it, former congressman with the white flag podcast, joe walsh and commentator and democratic strategist maria cardona. there is a lot to go, only three days left, i can't believe we are here. what do you make of that trump

commentator: steven again. graeme sharp waiting in the centre. - and gray is closing in here. oh, and sherwood didn't collect! - and the goal is given. the challenger gray, - too much for the goalkeeper. everton are 2—0. merseyside are celebrating. we didn't handle it the right way, which is my fault, because i should have said to graham, "let me go in there and have a word with them." yeah. do you think it would have made a difference? yeah. yeah? absolutely. i can be quite...good at that. yeah, i'm sure. yeah. you're very, very successful... in your career, i've had an incredibly long career. the highlight of my career was glastonbury, which i never thought i'd play, and i had to go in there

he sort of looked at me as if i was stark raving mad but we went on this great adventure. i remember first meeting him and saying to him, "what do you want?" and they'd finished seventh for two successive years in the fourth division. he said, "i want to go into the first division and europe". and what a stupid thing! but you see, the thing about it — that's what i wanted when i was at lincoln. now, perhaps i'd been stupid, but was i stupid? i couldn't get it at lincoln because i didn't have the financial backing — and i'm not saying i would have done but i didn't have the financial backing. but all of a sudden, i met a fellow who got the same stupid idea as i did as i had — that wanted to come from the fourth division into europe. john motson: the fourth i division championship in 1978 was followed by promotion from the third a year later. three years after that, - watford became a first division club, runners—up. in their first season. in their second,| fa cup finalists. commentator: ..coming in. this is quite miraculous what you did, wasn't it? there's a point where you're absolutely bottom of the football league...

commentator: ..coming in. this is quite miraculous what you did, wasn't it? there's a point where you're absolutely bottom of the football league... 92nd — yeah, 92nd. ..four divisions. and then, five years later, you were top. mmm, i know. second to — we were second at arsenal. we were — we did get to the top at one point and we finished second that year and it was an extraordinary, wonderful time of my life, which, you know, thank god i did this. it meant so much to me because it was part of my life, coming here when i was a young boy to two horrible stands and then, a dog track or a greyhound track. and when you do things together — and you know this — when you're playing in a team that clicks and you've got the people and then, you get the momentum, it's so thrilling. it's like doing a musical onstage that's successful, an album in a studio that's successful. it doesn't happen very often but when it does, you know, it's magical. would you prefer to have been a footballer? —— would you have preferred to have been a footballer? in my dreams. no, i... because i think we always want to be something else that we're not, possibly. no, i love football but i was, i was destined to be who i was because i loved music.

yeah. would that have been out of the ordinary, though, wouldn't it? would it — would graham have accepted it, do you think? um, i think he would have done, if i'd have had the courage. it made sense. looking back on it, it made sense. i've been there. i've been to the big occasions. these guys haven't. and it's like, "come on. "don't be afraid. "you can win this." everton aren't the greatest team in the world but they had old heads, they'd been there several times before, and i regret that. crowd sings abide with me the famous image of that final, of course, is abide with me and you standing there with tears in your eye. very emotive. well, it's one of my favourite hymns of all time, anyway. and with the brass band, i've always cried at abide with me. it wasn't just because we were there... i've done it myself. ..it*sjust a wonderful piece of music. and with the brass band and everything like that, and the occasion, obviously. i was walking around on the pitch thinking, "god, we're in the cup final." commentator: steven again.
