HC seeks response on personal bond sought by DM from Sitapur farmers By IANS| Updated: 26th January 2021 2:55 pm IST Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh) , Jan 26 : The Allahabad High Court has asked the Uttar Pradesh government to clarify under what circumstances an exorbitant amount of personal bond and sureties have been sought from Sitapur farmers. A bench comprising Justice Rajeev Singh and Justice Ramesh Sinha directed the Additional Advocate General Vinod Kumar Shahi to fetch instructions in the matter from the respondent no.2-District Magistrate, Sitapur. The matter is listed for February 2. The court was hearing a petition filed by Arundhati Dhuru.
