The traffic situation in Davao City has made it more challenging for bikers to navigate the main roads. That is why bike groups have long been appealing to have designated bike lanes that may help with the safer city biking of Dabawenyos. Late last year, the city government of Davao started designating bike lanes on select roads around the city. Although many usual road obstructions are still present such as parked private vehicles, the public is still continuously learning and being educated of the importance of bike lanes, not only for the safety of the bikers but of the pedestrians and motorists as well. ....
