Nigerian Court Sentences Sokoto Board Director To 7 Years Imprisonment For Scamming 46 People
A Director with the Commodity Board in Sokoto state, Hassan Bello, has been sentenced to seven years imprisonment over a job scam. It was learnt that Bello collected the sum of N1.32 million from Aliyu Adamu-Tsaki, Yusuf Abubakar, Yahaya Salihu and 43 others under the pretence of securing jobs for them with the board. The victims were said to have reported the matter to the Economic and financial crime commission when they realised they had been scammed by the convict.
