You have search, share, your start button, devices, and your main computer settings. >> on the left side you can swipe to bring back all of the previous apps that you were using. a quick swipe out and back in. it will bring up a list of the most recently used apps, and you can jump from here fro one to the next. another cool new feature of windows 8 is the ability to have two apps on the screen at the same time. i'll bring up abc news, drag it to the left side. and there you go. now i have access to abc news and i can still continue working on my excel spread sheet here on the right-hand side....
