Pennant Walters has unveiled early stage preparations for an application for a new 48MW wind farm at Mynydd Llanhilleth in Wales. The company, which is the renewable development arm of the Walters Group, said the proposals will be deemed a ‘Development of National Significance’ (DNS) under current legislation in Wales. DNS applications are submitted to the Planning Inspectorate Wales for consideration, before being decided by Welsh Ministers, it added.
