Dekalb s Village Commons Bookstore has been around long enough for not only some of our parents to shop at, but possibly even our grandparents. The go-to bookstore for Northern Illinois University students has been around for 51 years offering more than just books, students and shoppers could also find Huskies-gear, and so much more. The beloved store announced they will close their doors for good. Thank you for everything VCB. Since I lived in University Plaza while I was on campus I loved that it was quick and convenient to get too. It was always a great time to stop in and get new NIU gear.
