After two years without a steady stream of vibrant arts and cultural events to fill up our calendars, institutions all across the region are swinging their doors wide open and welcoming visitors with a slate of exciting spring events. Over at The Dorsky Museum at SUNY New Paltz, one of the region’s leading fine arts institutions, this Sunday, April 3 will play host to a celebration of their spring exhibitions, complete with live music and food and drink.

If you want to help get a warm blanket to someone experiencing homelessness in Austin this week, the nonprofit Front Steps has a way to do it.  The organization is running a winter blanket drive this season, and as the cold weather forecast worsened over the past few days, the staff saw a big influx of blanket donations, according to Director of Development and Communications Amy Price.
