Jamie S. Nelson pleads guilty in four storage unit theft cases

NEW PHILADELPHIA A 34-year-old woman from the Bolivar area has admitted to her role in a string of thefts from storage units. Jamie S. Nelson, entered guilty pleas in four cases on Tuesday before Tuscarawas County Common Pleas Judge Elizabeth Lehigh Thomakos. The judge then found her guilty of theft, receiving stolen property, breaking and entering, and aggravated drug possession. In exchange for her plea, assistant county prosecutor Robert Urban recommended that she receive a two-year prison sentence, to be reserved in favor of completion of a program at a community-based correctional prog...
