Greater Norristown NAACP hosting Resource Fair and rally Saturday


NORRISTOWN — The Greater Norristown NAACP is hosting two events back to back Saturday.
Norristown Community Resource Fair, featuring information about the expedited pardon process for marijuana convictions, kicks things off at noon, at the DeKalb lot, 45 E. Airy St., Norristown.
“We’re partnering with the Public Defender’s Office from 12 to 3 p.m. A lot of different offices from the county will be out and sharing  resources,” noted Angie Hinton, president of the Greater Norristown NAACP. “The NAACP will be there with voter registration because we’re coming up on the primary. We’ll have music, with a DJ there, and it’s just about sharing all this information.” ....
