Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi guest of honor on July 14 in Paris
The France wants to heal its ally to strengthen its security in the Indo-Pacific and open up trade opportunities. Narendra Modi will walk down the Champs Elysées on the occasion of the national holiday. A contingent of the Indian Armed Forces will participate in the parade alongside the French forces. The two countries recall that they "share a common vision of peace and security, particularly in Europe and the Indo/Pacific region" and envisage "joint initiatives" on climate change, biodiversity loss and sustainable development.
