In a court hearing Monday, Carlos Reales Dominguez’s public defender argued his client was not mentally competent to stand trial. Dominguez tried to interject multiple times during the proceedings, telling the judge he wanted to represent himself.
Carlos Dominguez appeared in court on Friday charged with stabbing to death two people and injuring a third. Dominguez, 21, was on a full scholarship at UC Davis.
