The Nation Newspaper Imo CP defends establishment of Tiger Base

The Head of the unit, El-Musta Sani, made the appeal at a Summit organised in Abuja by the Public Complaints Commission.

Some officers of the Nigeria Police Force, Delta State Command, have been caught on camera brutally assaulting some male students of the Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro.     An X user, @Official_pere, who posted the video on the social media platform said that the police officers intercepted the students along Campus 2 road while they were returning from school and started brutalising them.   

  The Kano State Police Command has said that it withdrew its officers from the Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission (PCACC) to conduct an audit on the officers. According to the command, this follows a series of reports indicating that the officers attached to the anti-corruption commission have been highhanded. It said there were also allegations that they had deviated from their expected role of providing static guard and other duties at the commission.
