Station. they re five years behind schedule. make no mistake about it, spacex has eaten boeing s lunch. boeing is well behind schedule, well behind spacex, but they have a contract for six more flights to the space station. and why is this flight important? it is a test flight. there are only two astronauts on board, instead of a normal contingent of three to four to five, whatever they decide to do in the future. they re going to try to demonstrate that they can manually fly this spaceship, that will be butch wilmore s assignment. they want to make sure they can manually fly it, not just on computer auto pilot and want to demonstrate and test the solar arrays, this will allow for powering the sparliner spaceship. i want to make the point, starliner is the spaceship at the top of the rocket and underneath that rocket is the atlas 5. one of the most successful rockets in the history of the entire space program dating back ....
