They gave the warning during a virtual meeting organised with their leaders on Sunday evening by the Education Writers’ Association of Nigeria, EWAN.

The Joint Action Committee of the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU) and the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) have directed its members to resume work on Monday, March 25, 2024. This follows the completion of its seven-day warning strike. SaharaReporters reported last Monday that SSANU and NASU had begun a one-week strike over alleged unfair treatment and disparity in the payment of their salaries by the Nigerian Government.

Habiba Shatali, a 200-level of Political Science student, Mariam Musa, a 400-level Microbiology student and Yusuf Abdulazeez, a 400-level Mathematics student were abducted around Kurfi, Dutsinma on January 14, 2024, while heading back to school from Minna, the Niger State capital.
