Dec 19, 2020 MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison's Police and Fire Commission have decided to offer the job of chief of police to Dr. Shon F. Barnes. By a vote of three to two, the commissioners voted to offer Barnes the job at its Friday afternoon meeting. "Following a rigorous, comprehensive process and after thorough deliberations, the PFC has selected Dr. Shon F. Barnes to be our Chief of Police," the commission said in a statement.
