The 9th Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians in Hà Nội adopted a statement highlighting the role of young people in accelerating the realisation of sustainable development goals through digital transformation and innovation, and promoted respect for cultural diversity in support of sustainable development at closing session of the event on September 16.

The leaders of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) have praised host country Việt Nam in successfully organising the 9th Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians (GCYP) which wrapped up in Hà Nội on Saturday.
