Want to start with you on this issue of the weapons that we just spoke to the see the nashville police chief about the parents clearly knew that weapons were a major factor here , but they thought that they had dealt with it. the question for you from a law enforcement perspective is that when you have this, this confluence of potentially mentally ill person and a weapon. what should individuals do in that circumstance to bring law enforcement into the equation? well listen, it goes back to when we talk about like the emotional issues that the suspect had. you know, we ve heard of this emotional breakdown. we ve heard of the emotional care that they were under. we don t know if that was directly by a doctor. but when it comes down to, you know the weapons and people who are in distress. your family members are key here. they re the key element if they feel that the individual is at risk for hurting themselves or others ....

It was probably a confluence of events, including soaring interest rates. but jim it is critical that they get to the bottom of what happened here. yeah i mean, listen to these. these regulations supposed to catch that kind of stuff were also getting some some consumer confidence data that s on the positive side of the ledger. um, you know, this is a surprise because this consumer confidence survey was being taken during the middle of this banking crisis. the survey date wrapped up march 20th. so that was 10 days after the collapse of silicon valley bank, so economists were expecting consumer confidence to go down. it actually went up slightly in march. that is encouraging consumers. they ve marked down their view on on the current situation, the economy, but they upgraded their short term outlook. um and this is important because the better consumers are feeling about the economy, the more likely they are to spend and you know, at the end of the day consumer spending is the main drive ....
