Congress MP Nakul Nath has been nominated to defend his Chhindwara Lok Sabha seat in the 2024 general election, the party said Tuesday evening as it released another list of candidates - 43 names.
The Congress Sunday released the second list of candidates to contest the upcoming assembly election in Rajasthan. The list featured senior party leaders Govind Ram Meghwal and Prasadi Lal Meena among 43 candidates.
Earlier the party had declared candidates for 144 seats but changed candidature in three seats while issuing the second list. Therefore, the total number of candidates announced in the first list stands at 141, a Congress leader said.
