The Lorain County Metro Parks Board of Directors voted July 20 to move forward with a 1.6-mill replacement levy to appear on the November ballot.

Lorain County Metro Parks discusses new park projects with public
Lorain County Metro Parks administrators met with members of the public July 18 at the Sunset Terrace at Lakeview Park, 1800 W. Erie Ave. in Lorain, to unveil their new strategic plans for the next 10 years, which includes adding trails to parks, more views of Lake Erie and upgrades to Cascade Park in Elyria and North Star Preserve in Oberlin.
