Peckham: Young woman fighting for life after being shot
Police were called shortly before 3am (May 23) to reports of gunshots on Consort Road. Officers, including firearms specialists, attended along with the ambulance service, finding a woman, thought to be in her 20s, suffering with a gunshot injury. She remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries. There is a significant police presence in the area as enquiries continue. A number of roads are currently closed.
