NSW police had been warned hours before a man fatally stabbed his ex-partner 16 times that he was 'knife happy', an inquest has been told. Emma Russell, a close friend of the murdered woman Gabriella Thompson, 27, claimed she told two police officers of her concerns that Tafari Walton could stab and possibly kill Ms Thompson.
