A 26-year-old constable died and three other policemen were injured in the early hours of Wednesday after being hit by a speeding tempo on the highway in Akbarpur area of Kanpur Dehat district, officials said.
The deceased was identified as 42-year-old Constable Babulal Verma, posted at Nalkheda police station in Agar Malwa.
A constable was killed after a truck hit his bike in the Sadar Bazar area of Bareilly on Wednesday night.
