Kids actually being able to really, like, partake fully in science. - whistle. well, covid has cancelled sports day, year groups can t mix and parents can t come into watch. so these year 7s are taking part in the festival of sport. it s been a lot of non stop training throughout the year. we ve had to adapt to things that have come up. things have changed both inside and outside of school. but we ve had to do our best to overcome it and make the year as enjoying and fulfilling as possible for our students. and although the holidays are just days away, these school gates will stay open. they ve been selected to hold summer camps for students who have fallen behind. it s been an academic year like no other. but with contact isolation and school bubbles ending next week, everyone s hoping that come september things will be very different. fiona lamdin, bbc news. ....

Thanks achieve population immunity? thanks very much. on your really good point about the damage to children s education, we are doing everything that we can to minimise that, we have got a massive catch up plan, as you know. i think what a lot of people want to see, parents and teachers and pupils want to see is a different approach to outbreaks in schools, and we will be making sure the secretary of state for education will announce later this week how we move away from sending bubbles home and we move away from contact isolation for pupils, to greatly reduce the impact on schools of covid outbreaks in those schools. obviously the way forward is by testing rather than sending bubbles home. patrick. ....
Arising? are they not doing their job? well, i think they re doing their job, but of course, a lot of this goes unreported, jamie. a lot of hospitals don t report sufficiently. in many states they don t have to. we re actually underreporting it today. it s much worse than it is. eric: how can we protect ourselves? what do we do to protect ourselves in the hospital? let me make a comment. i think your point is well taken. they re looking at the hospitals very carefully. the infections cause red flags and all the hospitals and professionals are working well together. for example, earl as a result of this, the infection rate went down to zero in one hospital. the cdc came up with what s called preng protect and preven. if a patient transfers to a hospital, you have to put them on contact isolation. you gotta wear a mask and gowns. if you visit your family member, don t touch a lot. hand hygiene is the way to go. ....
