The Google Contacts app has added a new Highlights tab to the main list view. It lets you search for contacts using a friendly, visually appealing grid and can be found sandwiched between two tabs.
From being a two-tab application, ‘Google Contacts’ has now become a three-tab application with the addition of a new “Highlights” tab. Seems like the icon is not the only thing that they have changed this year.
