Dauphin island, the national guard laying down containment boxes. they are absorbent. what they are going to do, the purpose as oil sheen, they haven't seen oil sheen come to shore yet, they are trying to protect this area of the island, which is a very, very rich breeding ground for birds and turtles as well. on the other side, pompom like devices supposed to catch tar balls. they caught them on saturday and those are tested to see where they originated from. on the other side that's where that's happening. they have been on patrol as far out as 30 miles. they haven't seen tar balls or oil sh...
