Dear City of Augusta, Leave them up and leave them on. I am talking about the lights on the trees Memorial and Cony circles. I am not just talking about for the winter, I say leave the tree lights up and on year-round. I think that would be a nice little touch to just make us feel good. I know when I am coming around the circle (or roundabouts or whatever they are officially called) and see the lights…they make me smile. We need more smiles. The lights do not strike me as just a holiday thing, they impress me as a happy thing.
