L-R Men's Basketball lose to Catawba
Lenoir-Rhyne Men’s Basketball lost its third game over its past four contests in a 91-80 defeat at Catawba on Monday night. Darius Simmons and R.J. Gunn combined for 46 points but the Bears trailed for the last 28:27 of the contest. In the first half, the Bears were just 1-of-10 from long range in the opening 20 minutes but finished 16-of-32 from the field. After the game was tied at 18 with 9:09 to play, Catawba ended the half outscoring the Bears 25-15.
