District department of the Investigative Committee in relation to a fortyfiveyearold relative a criminal case was initiated under part three of article 147, infliction of grievous bodily harm resulting in the death of a person through negligence, of the criminal code of the republic of belarus. The man was detained by Law Enforcement officers, with the prosecutors approval and a preventive measure in the form of detention was applied to him.
