ACTION NEWS EIGHT REPORTER PHIL GOMEZ SHOWS HOW IT LL WO LAST SUMMER JUNIOR LIFEGUARD WAS OFFERED VIRTUALLY BY THE CITY OF SANTA CRUZ, THE CAPITOLA RECREATION HELD A SCALED DOWN PROGRAM AND STATE PARKS CANCELLED ITS ALL TOGETHER BUT ISTH SUMMER THE JUNIOR LIFE GUARD RETURNS WITH A BIG SPLASH. Last Summer we had much more limited participation in o ur virtual guard program d an so this year, we re really excited to bring our guards back. The city of Santa Cruz, Capitola and the State Parks Departntme plan to reopen the Jioun Lifeguard Progam on June 14. EACH PROGRAM FOLLOWS ALL COVID GUIDELINES PROVIDED BY THE STATE AND COUNTY TWO HUNDRED KIDS WT EN THROUGH THE CAPITOLA GUARD LAST YEAR THE RECREATION DEPARTMENT IS ALLOWING MORE KIDS TO SIGN UP THIS S ....
