The 2021 Corporal Eugene Cole 5k Is August 29th It's almost time to run your little heart out in honor of one of Maine's finest: Somerset County, Corporal Eugene Cole. Cpl. Eugene Cole's life was cut far too short when he was shot and killed in the line of duty on April 25th of 2018. As a way to keep Corporal Eugene Cole's memory alive, his family and community have come together to raise scholarship money via a 5k and half marathon in his name.
