  The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has said the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and its Director-General, Brig Gen Yusha’u Dogara Ahmed, are engaging in a contempt of court, conspiracy, deceit and wilful misrepresentation of facts in the certificate case of the party’s Governor-elect, Peter Mbah. The PDP Enugu State chapter in a statement by its campaign spokesperson, Barrister Nana Ogbodo, on Friday faulted the claim by the DG that he told Mbah that his discharge certificate was not issued by the NYSC.

  The Governor-elect of Enugu State, Peter Mbah, has taken the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and its director, Corps Certification, Ibrahim Muhammad, to court over “conspiracy, deceit, and misrepresentation of facts” on his discharge certificate. Mbah, in the writ of summons documents obtained by SaharaReporters on Thursday, is seeking a declaration that he participated in the NYSC scheme for one calendar year vide a call-up letter number FRN/2001/800351; Lagos code LA/01/1532 and upon completion was issued a certificate of National Service No. A808297.
