Error in Town Council notes | Letter | The Journal of the San Juan Islands
As the coordinator of the League of Women Voters of the San Juans (LWVSJ) Observer Corps and the observer at the March 16, 2023 meeting of the Friday Harbor town council, I am writing in response to the letter from Ketonk LLC printed in the April 12 edition of the Journal. The misinformation referred to in the letter was my error alone and I take full responsibility for mishearing and thus misreporting an element of a public comment. The websites that published the notes relied on my accuracy and moved quickly to acknowledge and correct the error.
