MP Menzies demands more flood support help for Fylde MP Mark Menzies has called for flood agencies to do more to protect homes and farmland in Fylde. Thursday, 28th January 2021, 2:42 pm Following heavy rains last week, huge areas of Fylde’s farming land were inundated, and many rural roads flooded. Mr Menzies said: “We have Lancashire County Council as the lead local flood authority, United Utilities and the Environment Agency responsible for flooding issues across Fylde. “However we are seeing more and more frequent floods and seemingly little action to prevent them.
