Tucker Mayor Frank Auman was set to hold a town hall on May 25 to discuss the city's proposed nondiscrimination ordinance. The town hall has been cancelled and will be rescheduled, a spokesperson for the city said on Thursday morning.
The Tucker City Council meets May 8 and will hold a first read and public hearing about the nondiscrimination ordinance that's been discussed for years.
During public comment at the Tucker City Council's April 24 meeting, several people spoke supporting the city passing a non-discrimination ordinance, which has been a matter for discussion in Tucker for some time.
