IRON MOUNTAIN Kiwanis Ski Club gained permission Friday from Dickinson County to host a public event Feb. 13 and 14 at the Pine Mountain ski jump, provided it complies with state regulations for controlling the spread of COVID-19.
With the Continental Cup tournament canceled due to pandemic restrictions, the ski club is selling commemorative booster buttons for supervised tours of the new tower and warming shelter. There will be free tours of other buildings as well, including the clubhouse, judges tower, team buildings and the Popple Palace concession building where souvenirs will be sold. ....
