Vote by mail continues to fall out of popularity among Northeast Florida voters, and that could mean long lines at the polls in November.
The Manassas City Council on Monday approved a $333 million spending plan that will raise the average city homeowner's real estate taxes by more than $260 annually. The fiscal 2025 budget, originally proposed by Interim Manassas City Manager Douglas Keen at a Feb. 26 City Council meeting, was approved upon its second reading during Monday's council meeting. The new fiscal year begins July 1.
