Schoolhouse.world is an online platform that connects people around the world to free, small-group tutoring sessions. It currently offers tutoring in high school math and SAT prep, and aims to expand to more ages and topics soon.  Rhode Island students will be able to register for Schoolhouse.world through RIDE’s recently revamped All Course Network (ACN).  RIDE opened registration for the ACN last week, with triple the number of course offerings than the previous year, on a statewide educational access portal, EnrollRI. The initiative is free to RI families. Schoolhouse.world was launched in early 2020 by Sal Khan, the founder of the Khan Academy online learning website, to help students who are falling behind due to COVID-19.
